Lian is a PhD student supervised by Yongguang Zhang at the International Institute for Earth System Science in Nanjing University. His research interests are investigating the influence of extreme climate events to the terrestrial ecosystem using the Sun-induced fluorescence and vegetation index data. Also he is working on applying machine learning method to calculate global GPP data.
