Her current research is to study eco-hydrological process and climate change impact on terrestrial evapotranspiration at regional and global scales through integrated approaches including modeling, ground-based and remote sensing observations. She is also interested in the effect of extreme climate events on ecosystem function in ecological fragile areas. She obtained her Ph.D. degree from Chinese Academy of Forestry in the summer of 2016 and is now working as a postdoctoral research associate in International Institute for Earth System Sciences.
